Course Description

The Resin Art Course is designed for anyone who wants to learn the creative art of working with epoxy resin and transform it into beautiful decorative and functional pieces. The course takes students through resin art techniques from the basics to advanced applications with step-by-step guidance and practical projects.

Students begin by understanding the fundamentals of resin art, including coating and casting techniques, mixing, application, finishing, and working with different materials. Through hands-on projects, learners get the opportunity to understand how resin behaves and how different techniques can be combined to create unique effects.

The course covers a variety of resin art techniques and projects, including geode clocks, resin coasters, nameplates, beach pours, dry flower designs, fabric techniques, floral preservation, mirror resin, and mixed-media resin artwork.

As students progress, they are introduced to more advanced resin applications such as table pours, half wood and half resin designs, lotus pond effects, coffee tables, and 3D resin artwork. These projects allow learners to explore larger formats and more detailed resin compositions.

Special attention is given to finishing techniques and creative applications such as decoupage, dry flower preservation, fabric incorporation, and decorative effects. Students can experiment with colours, textures, inclusions, and different design elements to develop their own resin artwork.
