Calligraphy Certification Course
(Brush pen Calligraphy + Copperplate Calligraphy)

Modern Calligraphy Classes are designed for beginners who want to learn beautiful and expressive lettering while exploring both Brush Pen Calligraphy and Copperplate Calligraphy. The course combines traditional lettering techniques with creative modern applications, allowing students to develop their own style through structured practice.

The course begins with the fundamentals of brush pen calligraphy, including uppercase and lowercase alphabets, numbers, colour blending, shadow effects, flourishes, and backgrounds. Students learn how to control their tools and develop consistency in their strokes and letter formation.

The second module introduces Copperplate Calligraphy, covering basic tools, curves, master strokes, lowercase and uppercase alphabets, word-building exercises, numbers, and word flourishing.

As students progress, they learn how individual letters can be connected and arranged to create complete words and compositions. Creative techniques such as colour blending, shadows, flourishes, and backgrounds allow students to move beyond basic lettering and create decorative calligraphy artwork.

The course is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in exploring calligraphy as a creative hobby or artistic skill. Regular lettering practice can also help improve hand control, concentration, creativity, and fine motor skills.

   Learn how to add shadow effects to lettering and create greater depth and visual interest.
7. Flourishes
   Explore decorative flourishes and learn how to incorporate them into calligraphy compositions.
8. Backgrounds
   Experiment with backgrounds that complement and enhance lettering artwork.

Module 2: Copperplate Calligraphy

1. Introduction to Copperplate
   Understand the fundamentals and structure of Copperplate Calligraphy.
2. Tool Guidelines

   Practise foundational curves and master strokes needed for Copperplate lettering.
