Course Description

The Elementary & Intermediate Exam Course is designed for students who have an interest in art and want to develop their drawing, painting, design, and creative skills through structured preparation. The course helps students build a strong foundation in art while preparing them for the Elementary Art Examination and Intermediate Art Examination.

Elementary Art Examination

The Elementary level is suitable for students who are beginning their formal art education and want to strengthen their basic artistic skills. Students learn essential concepts such as drawing, shading, colouring, composition, observation, and creative design through regular practice and guided projects.

The course focuses on developing accuracy, creativity, proportion, observation skills, and confidence in drawing and art. Students are encouraged to understand the subject they are drawing rather than simply copying it. Regular exercises help them improve their ability to observe shapes, forms, details, light, and shadows.

Students also get an opportunity to explore different aspects of drawing and painting, helping them become more comfortable with creating artwork independently. Intermediate Art Examination

The Intermediate level is designed for students who have successfully completed or cleared the Elementary Art Examination and are ready to take their artistic skills further. The course builds upon the fundamentals learned at the Elementary level and introduces students to more detailed and advanced concepts.

Students work on drawing, painting, design, perspective, composition, visual communication, and creative expression. Greater attention is given to accuracy, proportion, detailing, presentation, and developing a clear understanding of artistic techniques.

Through regular practice and guided assignments, students can improve their technical skills and develop greater confidence in handling different art subjects. The course also encourages students to think creatively and apply their own ideas while working within examination requirements.
